Job Summary
Summary
Hybrid: Onsite at Assembly Row in Somerville 2x/wk with 1 remote day each week. The hours done onsite are flexible but onsite days are required.
Performs a variety of duties in support of employee immigration including scanning logging and sending immigration documents as well as responding to routine inquires.
Essential Functions
-Scans logs and mails out visa sponsorship documents.
-Assembles files for visa sponsorship requests that will be handled by law firms .
-Withdraws visa sponsorship for employees who have left .
-Answers inquires and routes more complex questions to the appropriate staff person.
-Presents once or twice a month at orientation for new J-1 visa holders
Education
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
- Associates Degree Related Field of Study preferred
- Bachelors Degree Related Field of Study preferred
- Experience can be accepted in lieu of a degree
Experience
- Experience in a Business or Customer Service setting: 0-1 year preferred
- Providing administrative or customer service: 0-1 year preferred
