About the Role

Join our team as a Executive Assistant/Disbursement Specialist in our Lien Negotiation & Settlement Disbursement department. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in our settlement process ensuring accuracy timeliness and efficiency in processing settlement checks preparing disbursement packages and coordinating approvals. This position is perfect for someone with strong organizational skills who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment and is committed to providing excellent client service.

Responsibilities

Process settlement checks accurately and efficiently ensuring timely distribution to clients.
Manage disbursement workflows to minimize delays and expedite the settlement process.
Review case files thoroughly for accuracy and completeness before drafting disbursement packages.
Draft disbursement packages with precision including all required documentation for review and compliance.
Coordinate with relevant parties to obtain timely review and approval of disbursement packages.
Submit disbursement requests to accounting promptly and accurately ensuring timely processing of settlement checks.

Qualifications

Previous Law Firm Experience Preferred
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to coordinate with internal and external parties.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently in a deadline-driven environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Compensation

$25 to $30 per hour
