Responsibilities
Ensure all activities comply closely with company practices and client requirements.
Complete ongoing training to stay updated on the latest guidelines affecting clinical supplies and GxP activities.
Participate in and support department project teams including the development of clinical supply strategies.
Assist in the development and improvement of departmental SOPs.
Train or assist junior staff as needed.
Ensure import and export operations conform to PPD or equivalent experience client specifications and relevant regulations.
Actively support the Trade Compliance Manager with updates concerning relevant regulations in the country of scope.
Complete and suggest improvements for the Import & Export plan for each project according to local operation requirements.
Serve as the local point of contact for Import/Export and Trade Compliance in-country.
Meet with the Trade Compliance Manager to review import/export issues and offer recommendations and alerts.
Propose and take part in continuous training on new regulations related to import/export activities.
Maintain filing of import/export documentation and update PPD Owned Metrics and Indicators Reports.
Requirements
Confirmed experience in import/export operations preferably in an IT environment.
Strong understanding of trade compliance and international shipping regulations.
Ability to make informed judgments and recommendations.
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
Proven track record to work collaboratively within a team and train junior staff.
