The RTX Enterprise Services (ES) Digital team in close partnership with the RTX Technology & Global Engineering (T&GE) team is seeking an HR leader to support the execution of the RTX AI strategy transforming RTX into an insights driven organization where technology serves as a catalyst for achieving business outcomes.

The Director HR - RTX AI HR Integration Lead will play a critical role in the RTX AI Strategic Workforce Planning initiative by leading the development and execution of actionable talent strategies across multiple Human Resources (HR) Centers of Excellence (CoEs). This individual will focus on integrating enterprise-level solutions that address build (internal development) and buy (external hiring) strategies for AI talent ensuring alignment with RTXs workforce objectives across Engineering Digital and Operations. As a central point of contact for HR functions this leader will work collaboratively to drive timely execution of initiatives and deliver an enterprise Strategic Workforce Action Plan for AI talent.

This role requires a strong understanding of HR disciplines experience in workforce planning or HR leadership and exceptional organizational and collaboration skills. It offers the opportunity to influence strategic talent decisions and deliver tangible workforce solutions that will shape RTXs future success.

What You Will Do

Lead strategic talent integration:

  • Lead the coordination and integration of workforce planning activities focused on build (develop talent internally) versus buy (external hiring) strategies.
  • Develop implement and monitor an enterprise Strategic Workforce Action Plan for AI talent at RTX.
  • Ensure alignment of talent strategies with the overarching AI Strategic Workforce Plan.

Collaborate across RTX Business Units and HR functions:

  • Coordinate and collaborate with HR CoEs including Talent Acquisition Talent Development Learning HR Business Partners Total Rewards and Change & Organizational Health to gather insights align strategies and facilitate timely execution of talent initiatives.
  • Serve as the central point of contact for HR project team members to ensure seamless communication alignment and integration of solutions.

Execute enterprise talent solutions:

  • Drive the creation and execution of enterprise-wide solutions such as targeted sourcing campaigns upskilling initiatives and learning programs to address AI talent needs.
  • Design and implement scalable talent integration strategies that align with RTXs business objectives.

Provide leadership and facilitation:

  • Facilitate workshops meetings and decision-making forums to drive consensus and action plans across HR teams and stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify barriers to progress propose solutions and ensure timely resolution of issues.

Support Change Management and Organizational Health:

  • Partner with change management and organizational health teams to support the adoption of new processes tools and strategies.
  • Ensure effective communication and engagement strategies to drive organizational buy-in for AI talent initiatives.

Provide HR Partnership

  • Collaborate with business leaders to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Partner advise and coach leaders and employees to enhance employee engagement foster team development and improve organizational effectiveness.
  • Lead HR core processes: workforce planning and optimization performance development change management succession planning employee relations salary planning and incentive compensation.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 14 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 12 years experience.
  • Minimum 10 years of related HR experience.
  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or Talent Leader with expertise in strategic HR initiatives.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills to identify and address challenges in talent integration efforts.
  • Familiarity with AI workforce needs skills taxonomies and related technologies.
  • Experience in talent integration or workforce planning in a large complex organization.
  • Background in change management or organizational health initiatives.

The salary range for this role is 176000 USD - 352000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including but not limited to individual performance business unit performance and/or the companys performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
