Job Summary
Join our Payments Product Control team and provide support to the financial controllers and trading desks to ensure that the profit & loss balance sheet and month-end close procedures are done correctly and accurately. This is a unique opportunity to gain broad exposure to numerous teams and products across the firm.
As a Finance & Business Management Associate in the Payments Product Control team you will collaborate with diverse teams and gain exposure to a wide range of financial products. Your work will help shape robust controls and support new business initiatives. Be a key contributor to our financial success.
Job responsibilities
- Assist with daily profit & loss reporting and month-end close processes
- Provide detailed analysis and reporting on the financials to desk heads business managers and senior finance management
- Partner with the business to bring forth and implement robust controls and new business initiatives
- Coordinate across various front and back office support functions to ensure resolution of control and reporting issues in an accurate and timely manner
- Serve as an analytical and project support resource for product control
- Handle various ad-hoc requests on a daily basis
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
- At least 3 years within Product Control Financial Control Accounting or related area
- Experience doing profit & loss and month-end close process
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Business or related area
- Solid understanding of financial products
- Foundational analytical skills and attention to detail including an advanced control focus
- Excellent communication skills and ability to develop dynamic working relationships.
