Job Summary

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Sterile Processing Technician to support the decontamination preparation sterilization storage and distribution of surgical instruments and medical equipment. This role ensures strict adherence to infection control regulatory and patient safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Decontaminate assemble inspect package and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment
Adhere to PPE sterilization and safety protocols
Operate sterile processing equipment including steam ETO Sterrad washers and ultrasonic cleaners
Store track and distribute sterile supplies using preference cards
Accurately document sterilization loads biological indicators and quality checks
Maintain clean organized work areas and provide professional customer service to clinical teams

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required
Sterile Processing Aide experience preferred
Basic computer proficiency and strong communication skills
Knowledge of medical terminology required
Anatomy & Physiology coursework SPD certification or a minimum of 3 years of recent Sterile Processing experience preferred
