POSITION SUMMARY:

The Corporate Manager of Retail Operations leads retail execution and the full-service brokeragestrategy for Hormel. This role drives in-store execution ROI through consistent measurement data-driven insights and operational excellence. A team of 5 Retail Zone Managers reports to thisposition along with an extended network of broker partners to ensure flawless retail execution andmeasurable sales impact.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead & Inspire team of 5 Retail Zone Managers fostering accountability and high performance.
• Manage retail execution and full-service brokerage strategy to streamline processes and deliverretail business division plan.
• Manage annual operating plan (AOP) for retail execution and full-service brokerage
• Manage broker commission structure that fosters strong partnerships and achieves Hormelsbusiness results.
• Evaluate broker network effectiveness and manage structural changes as agreed by leadership.
• Align broker partners on execution priorities and labor strategies to maximize in-store impact while staying within AOP budget.
• Implement merchandising standards measurement and rally resources around tentpolepromotional programs nationally.
• Partner with sales leadership marketing and category teams to translate strategy into actionableretail programs including point of purchase display planning.
• Coach sales managers to negotiate broker contracts and managing KPIs to ensure accountability.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required

• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
• 10 years in retail operations execution or field sales within CPG (food industry strongly preferred).
• Proven leadership experience managing multi-level teams and third-party partners.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret retail data and drive actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to travel up to 40% nationally.

At Hormel Foods base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base hiring pay range for the Corporate Manager Retail Operations role is between$117900 - $165050 per year and your actual base pay within that range will depend upon a variety of factors including but not limited to job-related knowledge skill set level of experience and geographic market location.
