As a Paramedic you will respond to emergency calls assess patients needs and provide lifesaving medical treatment within your scope of practice. Youll work alongside nurses physicians and other clinical staff to ensure safe efficient and compassionate care.

Key Responsibilities

Respond promptly to calls for emergency medical services and assess the nature and extent of illness or injury.

Administer emergency medical care including stabilization monitoring and resuscitation as appropriate.

Administer medications and perform procedures within scope of practice.

Communicate and collaborate effectively with physicians nurses and medical personnel.

Maintain accurate documentation and follow care directives from supervising providers.

Support unit readiness by keeping patient rooms and work areas clean stocked and orderly.

Participate in staff meetings in-service trainings and department projects as assigned.

Qualifications

Education:

Paramedic Technical Certification or associate degree Required

Licensure & Certifications:

Current State of Arkansas Paramedic Licensure Required

Basic Life Support (BLS) must be obtained within the first week of orientation

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within 6 months of employment

Skills & Experience:

Strong critical thinking sound judgment and ability to work independently in high-pressure situations.

Prior experience in emergency services or acute care Preferred
