We have an opening for a Full-time Pharmacy Technician-Inpatient.
As the Pharmacy Tech you procure and distribute medication orders per physician request pharmacist request or prearranged work assignment according to established policies procedures and protocols.
SCHEDULE
- Full-time - 40 hours/week.
- Mix of days/evenings and occasional weekends. No overnights or call currently.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Pharmacy Tech Certification from the State Board of Pharmacy (DORA) is preferred.
- Will consider candidates with provisional certification from the State Board of Pharmacy (DORA).
Experience:
- 2-3 years pharmacy technician inpatient or outpatient experience preferred.
Skills:
- Ability to work accurately with attention to detail.
- Ability to work cooperatively with hospital and pharmacy staff.
- Ability to respond quickly to emergency requests.
- Ability to handle frequent interruptions and adapt to changes in workload and work schedule.
- Ability to set priorities and solve problems.
- Ability to communicate effectively (orally and in writing).

SALARY RANGE
- $2.25/hour evening shift differential when working a minimum of 4 consecutive hours between 3:00pm-11:30pm.
- $2.25/hour weekend differential when working 5 or more continuous hours between 7pm on Friday and 7am on Sunday.
