About the Position:
We are seeking a Senior Shopify Developer with an advanced front-end stack and deep experience in Headless Commerce. You will be the technical lead for our digital storefront responsible for everything from custom Liquid theme architecture to high-performance decoupled storefronts built on React and .
The ideal candidate bridges the gap between traditional e-commerce and modern web engineering ensuring our customers experience a fast secure and seamless shopping journey.
What Youll Do:
- Headless Storefront Development: Architect and deploy decoupled storefronts using React and Shopify Hydrogen.
- Modern Front-End Engineering: Build interactive UI components using Tailwind CSS and TypeScript to ensure a scalable bug-free codebase.
- Liquid Mastery: Maintain and optimize core Shopify themes (OS 2.0) for high performance and pixel-perfect design accuracy.
- API & Data Architecture: Utilize GraphQL and the Storefront API to create complex data-driven shopping experiences (e.g. custom bundles dynamic pricing).
- Performance Excellence: Lead efforts to maintain sub-second load times and perfect Core Web Vitals across all device types.
- Ecosystem Integration: Integrate third-party tools (Headless CMS ERPs CRM) into a unified e-commerce architecture.
Experience Youll Bring:
- Frameworks: Expert in and (App Router Server Components SSR/SSG).
- Core Languages: Mastery of Liquid TypeScript and modern CSS (Tailwind SASS).
- Tooling: Proficiency with Shopify CLI Git Webpack/Vite and Vercel/Oxygen deployment.
- Data Handling: Expert in GraphQL and deeply familiar with the Shopify Admin and Storefront APIs.
Preferred Certifications
We highly value candidates who have validated their skills through the Shopify Academy. Preference will be given to those holding:
- Shopify Development Fundamentals: (Verified Badge)
- Liquid Storefronts for Theme Developers: (Advanced Verified Badge)
- Headless at Shopify for Developers: (Expert Certification)
- Creating Solutions for Shopify Checkout: (Platform Certification)
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 8 years in front-end development; 4 years specifically in the Shopify ecosystem.
- Portfolio: A track record of launching successful headless or high-performance Shopify Plus stores.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to advise on Build vs. Buy decisions regarding apps and custom features.
- Leadership: Experience leading code reviews and mentoring junior developers in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation:
Salary is commensurate with experience based on department and role.
