Our placement roles have theadditionalbenefit of a workplacementor; this could be your manager or a technical expert who willsupport you throughout yourtime at Caterpillar and help you gain theprofessional developmentand skills you need to be set up for success!Our placement students can expect to return touniversitywith further developed technical skills and experience of how University learning is applied to the workplace.

We alsooperatea conditional offer process; our highest performing placement students are fast tracked to our graduate development scheme. This includes a financial incentive and the potential of a summer work placement. Offers will be made based on the condition that a graduate role is available at the time of your graduation and that you achieve a min of 2:2.

Job duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

This positionis responsible forsupporting JSSCommercial Managers across Europe Middle East and Africa (EMEA) to develop sales and marketing plans to grow customer focused solutions.

• Business planning and opportunity identification across the EMEA region

• Supporting the team with site assessments to enableoptimalfleet design for proposals

• Develop commercial proposals in partnership with Commercial Managers

• Support management of salesforce pipeline

• Attending dealer / customer meetings with Commercial Managers (online and in person)

• Develop contracts utilising standard Caterpillar templates with support from Commercial/Legal

• Understanding of Caterpillar machine application training will be given

• Understanding and use of various Caterpillar on/off board technologies

• Activelyparticipatein special projects

• Applicants will be on target to achieve a minimum of 2:2 honours degree levelin a relevant disciplineIT Engineering MarketingFinance or Economics

• Strong communicationand inter-personal skills

• Strong customer focus and analytical skills

• Fluency in a European language would be an asset

• Software knowledge is: Outlook Word MS Excel MS PowerPoint.

• Knowledge of IT Database Salesforce SAP Tableau (Dashboards) Power BI would be beneficial

Recruitment Process Guidelines:

Here is a brief overview of what you can expect when applying to our Early Career roles

Online Application:The first stage of the process is to complete the online application and attach your CV this must be done before the closing date of the role thatyoureapplying for. Stage one Video Interview:If selected you will be invited to complete a user-friendly video interview which will then be reviewed by the Hiring this stage if you are successful you will be invited to attend an Assessment Centrewhich weanticipatewill be heldon11thMarch 2026onsite at ourSolihullfacility so please try to keep that date free. We would also recommend that you check your spam emails and your Workday account for updates.

Stage two - Assessment Centre:The Assessment Centre Day will look at a range of behaviours such as teamwork decision-making communication and problem-solving. We aim to make these days fun inclusive and as relaxed as possible.

Stage three Offer:After the Assessment Centre the Caterpillar team will review the feedback and extend offers to our preferred candidates we aim to do this as quickly as possible.Placement studentswill start on6thJuly 2026. We look forward to receiving your application to join Caterpillar!
