We currently have some exciting opportunities for industrial placement students to join Caterpillar across several of our sites. You will have the opportunity to work with others across ourorganisationand you will be directly involved and at the heart of our businessparticipatingon strategic projects.
*Please note thatin order tobe eligible to complete a 12 Month Industrial PlacementcommencingJuly 2026 you must be in your penultimate year of study unless enrolled in an integrated masters program.

Offers will be made based on the condition that a graduate role is available at the time of your graduation and that you achieve a min of 2:2.

Job duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
This positionis responsible forsupporting JSSCommercial Managers across Europe Middle East and Africa (EMEA) to develop sales and marketing plans to grow customer focused solutions.
Business planning and opportunity identification across the EMEA region
Supporting the team with site assessments to enableoptimalfleet design for proposals
Develop commercial proposals in partnership with Commercial Managers
Support management of salesforce pipeline
Attending dealer / customer meetings with Commercial Managers (online and in person)
Develop contracts utilising standard Caterpillar templates with support from Commercial/Legal
Understanding of Caterpillar machine application training will be given
Understanding and use of various Caterpillar on/off board technologies
Activelyparticipatein special projects

Applicants will be on target to achieve a minimum of 2:2 honours degree levelin a relevant disciplineIT Engineering MarketingFinance or Economics
Strong communicationand inter-personal skills
Strong customer focus and analytical skills
Fluency in a European language would be an asset
Software knowledge is: Outlook Word MS Excel MS PowerPoint.
Knowledge of IT Database Salesforce SAP Tableau (Dashboards) Power BI would be beneficial

Stage two - Assessment Centre:The Assessment Centre Day will look at a range of behaviours such as teamwork decision-making communication and problem-solving. We aim to make these days fun inclusive and as relaxed as possible.
Stage three Offer:After the Assessment Centre the Caterpillar team will review the feedback and extend offers to our preferred candidates we aim to do this as quickly as possible.Placement studentswill start on6thJuly 2026. We look forward to receiving your application to join Caterpillar!
