What this job involves:

As an Assistant Program Manager with a focus on events within our Large Production Venues (LPV) at JLL you will manage the execution of large-scale events that host significant company gatherings including All Hands Meetings Classroom Trainings and Expos while working closely with full-service producers and production teams to coordinate lighting audio video and livestreaming requirements. You will supervise event team members while collaborating with third-party vendors and ensuring seamless delivery of high-level special events as requested by Amazon Event Organizers through comprehensive event planning including conducting site visits leading planning meetings and coordinating final details with stakeholders. This role involves day-to-day supervision of events team members in support of the Meetings and Events program while overseeing and coordinating with event support staff and third-party vendors to independently manage and execute high-level special events. You will develop and implement new policies and procedures while analyzing and optimizing existing operational procedures and driving continuous improvement initiatives for operations and service levels while tracking and analyzing team performance metrics and preparing monthly performance reports to Program Delivery Manager directly contributing to JLLs mission of delivering exceptional event management excellence through comprehensive technical production coordination stakeholder engagement and operational leadership that ensures seamless large-scale event execution client satisfaction and strategic program delivery across complex venue environments.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Provide day-to-day supervision of events team members while overseeing and coordinating with event support staff and third-party vendors for comprehensive program support
    Independently manage and execute high-level special events as requested by Amazon Event Organizer while leading comprehensive event planning including site visits and stakeholder meetings
  • Develop and implement new policies and procedures while analyzing and optimizing existing operational procedures for continuous improvement initiatives
  • Track and analyze team performance metrics while preparing and presenting monthly performance reports to Program Delivery Manager for strategic oversight
  • Provide prompt and courteous responses to Amazon Event Organizer and client requests while maintaining ethical professional relationships with contractors and property management teams
  • Prepare proposals and presentations while assisting in compiling budget information and business review metrics for comprehensive client support
  • Demonstrate ability to work independently on complex projects while providing high level support to team and customers with minimal senior oversight.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in Event Management Hospitality Management or related field with 3 years of event management or relevant hospitality experience
  • Demonstrated experience in team leadership and project management with strong leadership capabilities and excellence in stakeholder management and communication
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities with proven ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment for complex project management
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite with excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Experience managing large-scale events with technical production coordination including lighting audio video and livestreaming requirements for comprehensive venue operations
  • Flexibility to work evenings nights and weekends as necessary while maintaining professional relationships across business segments and teams
  • Understanding of comprehensive event planning including site visits planning meetings and final details coordination with stakeholders for seamless event execution.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Large Production Venues hosting significant company gatherings including All Hands Meetings Classroom Trainings and Expos for enhanced event management effectiveness
  • Knowledge of full-service producers and production teams coordination while understanding technical production logistics and venue management requirements
  • Understanding of Amazon policies and procedures as they apply to onsite meetings and events while demonstrating compliance with company and regional policies
  • Experience developing and implementing new policies and procedures while analyzing and optimizing existing operational procedures for continuous improvement
  • Knowledge of team performance metrics tracking and analysis while preparing monthly performance reports for strategic program oversight and delivery
  • Understanding of budget information compilation and business review metrics while preparing proposals and presentations for comprehensive client engagement
  • Experience building and maintaining relationships across business segments while exercising influence within direct and extended teams for strategic collaboration.
