Embedded Software Developer

You will become part of a small dedicated embedded software team within a larger group of 10 experienced software engineers working together to deliver high-quality solutions. For the right candidate we offer excellent opportunities for both personal and professional development.

Specialist in embedded software development
You will report to the Software Manager but in your daily work you will be part of interdisciplinary project teams where you will be responsible for our embedded software solutions in close cooperation with project managers and other project members. Your responsibilities will include:

• Development test and integration of software for microcontroller-based and embedded Linux-based systems
• Maintenance and quality assurance of existing codebases to ensure reliability and performance
• Participation in the selection of new technologies including future software platforms and architecture
• Define specifications for solutions tasks and processes

Your workplace will be at our headquarters in Sønderborg and physical presence is required. This is not a hybrid or remote position.

Your Background
You have a relevant technical education such as an Engineering degree in software development or addition we expect that you:

• Have experience with microcontroller programming and real-time operating systems (RTOS)
• Are proficient in C programming for embedded systems
• Are a team player who makes decisions based on solid analysis
• Possess an innovative mindset with a strong focus on quality
• Work systematically and maintain an overview even under pressure
• Can collaborate effectively with electronics engineers to align software and hardware designs
• Can communicate fluently in English both written and spoken

Nice-to-have skills:

• Familiarity with embedded Linux and Yocto
• Experience with developing and maintaining reusable modular platform code
• Experience with Rust programming
• Familiarity with cybersecurity principles for embedded systems
