POSITION DESCRIPTION
Title: Human Resources Manager
FLSA Status: Exempt

Salary:$85000-$95000
Reports to: Chief Administrative Officer
POSITION SUMMARY
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for implementing the day-to-day operations of JHAs Human Resources department. You will play a key role in ensuring the effective use of human resources to support JHAs business strategies and this role you will advise and assist management on all HR matters providing sound guidance and ensuring consistent application of HR principles and policies across JHA.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
QUALIFICATIONS
This position requires: a Bachelors degree in Human Resources Public Administration Business Administration or Psychology; seven-plus years of progressively responsible HR experience including at least six years managing all areas of HR preferably with a public housing authority or a Florida local government entity; SHRM certification; in-depth knowledge of standard HR policies procedures and best practices; excellent interpersonal analytical and problem-solving skills; strong verbal and written communication skills focused on clear and concise delivery; ability to perform all HR functions and manage a team in a fast-paced environment
