Job responsibilities:
- Serve as a local leader within our AI/ML team driving innovation and fostering growth.
- Mentor and develop team members promoting an inclusive environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to set technical visions and execute strategic roadmaps.
- Manage AI/ML projects using Agile methodology ensuring timely delivery.
- Design experiments implement algorithms and productionise scalable solutions.
Required qualifications capabilities and skills:
- Masters degree or PhD in Computer Science Data Science or equivalent fields.
- Proven track record of managing AI/ML teams and developing production solutions.
- Strong programming skills in Python including advanced concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on data structures and algorithms.
- Hands-on experience in coding and solution design from scratch.
- Familiarity with data science platforms such as SageMaker and DataBricks.
- Strong people management and team-building skills.
Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills:
- Ability to inspire collaboration among technical and non-technical teams.
- Effective communication and solid negotiation skills.
- Experience in fostering a healthy engineering culture and attracting talent.
