For our MOM team we are currently looking for aSenior Application Engineer.
Projects from A-Z this is how we do it!
At Contec we realize projects from A to Z. Depending on the project you will either work independently or as part of a team to realize the customers digitalization requirements. The assignments are often very diverse and multifaceted so it is important that you have a strong interest in software development and in understanding industrial and administrative processes.
- As a Senior Application Engineer you act as the bridge between the customer and Contecs in-house MOM application (CPMS). Based on the functional input from the customer and the functional analyst complex procedures are prototyped and implemented in the application. Listening carefully to the customer and understanding their processes and procedures is essential;
- Through best practices and coaching you are able to guide colleagues and delegate tasks during software development. We strongly believe in knowledge sharing to help each other grow to a higher level;
- You configure and prepare internally developed MOM systems for delivery to the customer;
- You are also able to frame new requirements and create the necessary analysis and design documents;
- You create functional test plans for internal testing as wel as test plans that are executed together with the customer for software acceptance.
Passion for automation Its you were looking for!
- You hold a higher education degree in Computer Science (Electronics-ICT Applied Computer Science etc.) or equivalent through experience;
- You have at least 7 years of experience;
- You think in a problem-solving and proactive way about projects e.g. you know which phase a project is in;
- You are assertive communicative and customer-oriented;
- You are in possession of a category B driving license;
- You speak and write Dutch and English fluently;
- You can work both autonomously and as part of a team;
- You are familiar with AS-IS TO-BE ROIs gap analyses requirements analysis and re-engineering;
- Affinity with concepts in the manufacturing or process industry such as OEE SPC CIL CIP and lean is a plus;
- Knowledge of the following technologies is required:
- Microsoft SQL Server and SQL dialect (T-SQL)
- Git
- Knowledge of the following technologies is a plus:
- HTML5 CSS JavaScript
- C#
- Basic knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as OPC MQTT etc.
- Data warehousing ETL and data analysis in general
