Job Summary

** COMMUNICATION REGARDING TEST INFORMATION WILL BE SENT VIA EMAIL **

PURPOSE AND NATURE OF WORK

This is moderately complex work involved in the maintenance and repair of small and related mechanical equipment including small tractors. The employee also makes minor repairs to the body or frame of the small equipment when necessary. Assignments are made orally or in the form of written work orders. Work is performed under general supervision and is subject to review while in progress or upon completion. Current position requires a valid Louisiana drivers license to be considered. Future vacancies filled using this list may not have the same requirement.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

Graduation from high school and experience in small engine or automotive repair; or any equivalent combination of training and experience.

TYPE OF EXAMINATION

Examination will be a multiple-choice exam.
