Following a major expansion Holy Cross Hospital Jordan Valleys capacity tripled now housing 171 beds to serve our growing community. We are a Level III Trauma center STEMI Cardiac receiving center and certified stroke treatment center. Join our team as a Pharmacy the Pharmacy Tech role you will assist the pharmacist in promoting an organized and functional pharmacy service. Prepares medications for dispensing and maintains records.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 1:30pm - 10:00pm rotating holidays
Job Requirements
In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day qualified Pharmacy Techs will bring the following experience:
- 1 year hospital or retail pharmacy experience preferred (completion of an Accredited Technician training course may substitute for experience)
- Working knowledge of computer systems
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Active Pharmacy Technician License (Kansas) Certification (Colorado or Utah) Provisional Certification (Colorado) or Provisional License (Utah) Required. Provisional Certifications must obtain State Certification within 12 months
- National PTCB required within 6 months of hire
Medium Work - exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently and/or up to 10 lbs. constantly
