JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for the day-to-day coordination of all UDX Orlando benefit programs including health wellness financial and onsite programs. Provides support for Team Members to enroll and understand benefit programs. Support AskHR Services with benefits inquiries and ad hoc projects as needed.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinates health and welfare plans. Works as a liaison with vendors HRBP and Team Members and AskHR Services. Assists with the communication and documentation of open enrollment and onsite initiatives.
- Assist Team Members with questions and provides information regarding group insurance leaves of absence financial programs tuition assistance COBRA and paid time off. Communicates eligibility for benefit programs to Team Members HRBP and AskHR Services.
- Coordinates onsite benefit events including health fairs support for various work locations and supports mobile health vendors onsite.
- Supports benefit report requests performs regular audits on Benefit Time Off and ad hoc projects as needed.
- Understands and actively participates in Environmental Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy procedures training and team member involvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
Associates or Bachelors degree in Human Resources or Business is preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
- 2 years of employee benefits experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and written.
- Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
- Must be able to gather and analyze information skillfully.
- Ability to handle customer complaints and satisfactorily resolve issues
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- Strong organizational skills ability to multitask and handle large volume of work.
- Verbal and written communication with Team Members external vendors and regulatory agencies.
- Heavy customer service focus. Computer work to include light data entry.
- Math calculations and analysis.
- Interpretation of company policies.
- Run projects to include planning and marketing projects.
