Job Summary
Our client based in Budapest has launched an S/4HANA program. To drive the project forward we are looking for a Senior SAP Project Manager.
Framework Conditions:
Start: January 2026
Location: Budapest (hybrid)
Duration: 3 months (extension possible 2 years)
Workload: Full-time
Language skills: Fluent in English and Hungarian
Contract type: Freelance
Additional Note: Kindly be informed that our customer is located in Hungary. Therefore only applications from candidates fluent in Hungarian and based in Hungary will be considered.
Tasks
- Defining tasks within individual project streams and coordinating them professionally with internal and external partners (including development migration testing integration and cutover)
- Coordinating deliverables from external partners (system integrators and legacy vendors) including reviewing deliverables
- Resource planning and coordination of internal team members involvement in the project
- Preparing regular status reports and reporting to senior management
- Managing escalations keeping Program Management informed and providing input for further escalations
- Preparing presentations for internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
- At least 10 years of professional experience in SAP project environments in roles such as project lead or system integrator (ECC S/4 or BW)
- Proven experience in the following areas: business impact analysis system analysis testing migration cutover
- Functional knowledge of SAP modules (e.g. FI MM SD etc.)
- Strong understanding of process mapping in an SAP environment
- Fluent English suitable for professional and client-facing communication
