At Factorial were looking for a Finance & Payroll Consultant- French Market to ensure our clients get a world-class optimisation experience across our Payroll Compensation and Finance Management solutions.
Youll play a key role in supporting French customers during implementation and adoption helping them optimise payroll operations expense management and finance workflows. This is a hands-on expert role where your knowledge directly impacts customer success and long-term value.

About the role
As the Finance & Payroll Consultant you will:
- Support payroll & finance implementations end-to-end: Guide French clients through the implementation and adoption of Factorials Payroll and Finance modules ensuring a smooth transition and strong product usage.
- Act as a subject-matter expert for French payroll & finance: Deeply understand client processes French payroll requirements DSN obligations and finance workflows to tailor solutions to each organisation.
- Deliver consultative payroll enablement: Support payroll setup across time management employee data contract types integrations and compliance workflows always adapting configuration to real business needs!
- Drive finance optimisation & automation: Help clients implement and optimise Finance Management solutions including expenses approval flows procurement / accounts payable and reporting.
- Train & advise client teams: Deliver training sessions share best practices and support finance and payroll teams in automating and scaling their processes.
- Identify risks edge cases & improvements: Detect complex scenarios propose solutions or workarounds and escalate when needed to ensure quality and compliance.
- Collaborate closely with Product: Act as a bridge between clients and Product teams by sharing insights on French payroll rules finance compliance and recurring customer pain points. Participate in testing and feature validation.
- Build long-term customer partnerships: Support clients beyond go-live ensuring compliance with French labour law DSN requirements internal finance policies and audit readiness.
- Work cross-functionally: Collaborate with Sales Customer Success Support and implementation partners to ensure a consistent high-quality customer journey.
Your Profile
In a few words: were looking for a hands-on consultant with strong French payroll and finance expertise who enjoys problem-solving advising clients and owning complex implementations end-to-end.
- Strong knowledge of French payroll processes conventions collectives DSN and local compliance.
- Professional experience in finance operations or finance consulting (expenses procurement reporting or similar).
- Languages: expert-level French and fluent English.
- Experience supporting clients implementing SaaS/ERP tools or working in a consulting environment.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate business processes into product configuration.
- Fast learner comfortable keeping up with product evolution.
- Proactive structured and comfortable taking ownership.
- TECH savvy and consulting mindset.
Nice-to-have
- Experience with French payroll tools (Sage Silae etc.).
- Experience with finance software or integrations (Business Central Sage Power BI).
- Background in HRIS payroll finance digitalisation or process automation.
- Experience building or delivering scalable service packages.
