Were looking for an Embedded Android Engineer with a strong background in low-level system development to join our team. This role focuses on hardware integration native libraries and Qualcomm platform development - not UI/UX or application design. If you enjoy working close to the hardware and diving deep into system internals this position is for you.

Our headquarters are in Vienna where we develop and manufacture both the hardware and the software of the smart glasses. Tasks
What Youll Do
- Develop and integrate native Android components (NDK/SDK).
- Work with Qualcomm development platforms and SDKs on SOCs (AR1 preferred).
- Implement system-level features with C and related build systems (Rust is a plus).
- Build and maintain basic Android app functionality using Java/Kotlin for communication with native layers.
- Access and control hardware at a low levelfor example connecting USB devices and using Qualcomm HTP.
Requirements
What Were Looking For
- Proven experience with Android NDK/SDK and native development.
- Familiarity with Qualcomm toolchains SDKs and SOC architectures.
- Solid understanding of C/C development practices.
- Hands-on experience integrating hardware drivers and system libraries.
- Optional: exposure to Rust or similar systems languages.
