Job Summary

Job Title: GSS Data Analyst
Job Type: Offshore Contract (6 months)
Location: New Iberia LA 70560
Schedule: 12-hour shifts averaging 88 92 hours/week; typically 3 weeks on / 2 weeks off (flexible; could be 4x2)

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly Pay Rate: $20 $25/hr (based on experience)
Per Diem: $35/day (applies to travel and standby days only)
Mileage reimbursement
Ground transportation available if needed only for South Louisiana Candidates

Position Summary

The GSS Data Analyst is responsible for delivering safe efficient and reliable PSD services at the wellsite. This role ensures accurate monitoring recording and reporting of well data while maintaining sensors and data acquisition equipment. The Analyst also identifies opportunities for process improvement and participates in risk management programs.

Key Responsibilities

70% data acquisition 30% reporting
Monitor well data and ensure accuracy and reliability
Maintain sensors and data acquisition equipment
Compile End of Well Reports daily logs and ad hoc reports
Ensure compliance with HSE policies and procedures
Maintain confidentiality of customer well data
Participate in job risk analysis and continual improvement initiatives

Experience & Skills

Minimum 4 years of relevant experience
Top 3 skills:
- Strong well control and well monitoring background
- Deepwater experience preferred
- Proficient computer skills
Strong teamwork and schedule flexibility

Education

Bachelors degree required (Geoscience degree preferred)

Certifications (can be obtained after hire)

TWIC card
RigPass / SafeGulf
HUET

Work Environment

Offshore 12-hour shifts
Rotational schedule (typically 3 weeks on / 2 weeks off)
Must pass fit-for-duty medical and comply with offshore safety protocols
