Job Description: Job title: Tech Procurement Analyst Responsible to: Tech Procurement Supervisor Department: End User Services Location of work: 2220 Colorado Avenue Santa Monica California 90404 Tech Procurement Analyst duties to include stock holding; enable effective and efficient provisioning of IT equipment to UMG users. The B Side: Skills & Experience Be Organised Maintain Procurement Store security Maintaining stock levels Monitoring and tracking hardware orders Validation allocation and shipping of goods to local Tech Support Receiving good asset tagging scanning and tracking Obtaining accurate quotations handling paperwork associate with purchases e.g. Invoices etc. IT inventory Asset Management and Reporting Be Collaborative Liaise with internal customers regarding order fulfilment and purchase queries Work closely with Finance on reporting Attend regular meetings with Procurement Teams in US/UK Supplier Liaison: Building relationships Replenishing stock Non- standard quotations and ordering Person Specification Candidates must be well organised have good interpersonal skills be able to work under pressure under their own initiative and be committed to providing excellent customer service. Candidates must have a pro-active approach to their work and prioritise effectively be highly motivated team players and have a good attention to detail. Necessary Good knowledge of MS Excel & Office (or similar) Strong customer service skills Good written and verbal communication Good understanding of IT Hardware Previous experience of IT Procurement or IT Buying Desk environment Prior experience of working in an IT environment* ServiceNow experience Desirable IT related qualifications obtained through further education Experience working in a media company Knowledge of reporting Experience of P2P Advanced knowledge of Excel Previous experience of working in a large global company Understanding of Procurement or Buying Desk environment Just So You Know The company presents this job description as a guide to the major areas and duties for which the jobholder is accountable.
