Real Estate Paralegal
We are seeking an Experienced Real Estate Paralegal with 10 years of hands-on transactional experience in New York residential and commercial real estate closings. This is a key role for a seasoned professional who can independently manage files from contract to closing resolve complex title issues and confidently coordinate with lenders title companies attorneys and clients to ensure smooth and timely settlements.

Key Responsibilities:
Transaction Management
- Independently manage full real estate files from executed contract through closing for residential and commercial matters
Document Drafting & Review
- Prepare and review contracts riders addenda amendments deeds payoff letters and complete closing packages
Title & Settlement
- Conduct detailed title reviews and searches
- Identify and resolve title defects
- Prepare settlement statements escrow ledgers prorations and closing adjustments
Bank Refinance & CEMA Matters
- Handle bank attorney files mortgage refinances and CEMA transactions
- Coordinate with lenders underwriters and title companies to meet closing deadlines
Closing Support
- Attend closings (in-person or remote)
- Troubleshoot last-minute issues and ensure accurate execution of closing documents
Client & Stakeholder Communication
- Act as the primary point of contact for buyers sellers brokers lenders and attorneys
- Provide consistent updates and clear guidance throughout the transaction lifecycle
Compliance & File Management
- Maintain accurate records escrow compliance document tracking and secure file management using real estate systems or CRMs
Qualifications:
- 10 years of experience independently managing New York real estate closings and title matters
- Strong working knowledge of NYC and New York State real estate law settlement procedures and lender requirements
- Proven ability to manage multiple transactions under tight deadlines with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently
- Bonus: Experience with real estate CRMs title software and digital document management platforms
