About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Recruiter to join our growing team within the shipping and maritime this role you will be responsible for sourcing selecting and placing qualified seafarers for international clients. You will work closely with crewing managers clients and candidates to ensure high-quality recruitment aligned with industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for seafarers and maritime professionals
- Source candidates through databases job portals social media and referrals
- Screen CVs conduct interviews and assess candidate suitability
- Coordinate with clients and internal teams to understand staffing requirements
- Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment documentation
- Ensure compliance with maritime flag state MLC 2006 and company regulations
- Conduct reference and document checks
- Support crew planning and workforce development activities
- Monitor recruitment KPIs and provide regular status updates
- Contribute to continuous improvement and digitalization of recruitment processes
Requirements
- Previous experience in recruitment; maritime or shipping industry experience is a strong advantage
- Knowledge of seafarer certification documentation and crewing processes is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple vacancies and work under deadlines
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficient in MS Office and recruitment systems
