We are hiring a Physiotherapist-Part Time to lead a Nursing home Maryfield nursing home Dublin Ireland.
Working Hours:
Part-time 2530 hours per week (flexible working hours)
Contract Type:
Part-time Fixed-Term Contract (12 months)
Responsibilities
Following initial baseline assessments provide ongoing one-to-one physiotherapy sessions to residents.
Use standardised validated outcome measures to reassess monitor progress and adapt treatment plans as required.
Maintain accurate up-to-date clinical documentation for all residents and clients.
Work closely with nursing staff to integrate physiotherapy interventions into individualised care plans.
Plan and deliver group exercise and fitness classes twice weekly.
Actively participate in regular multidisciplinary Falls Meetings and complete all associated documentation.
Deliver care to a predominantly mobile and active older population as well as geriatric residents with varying physical and cognitive conditions including stroke multiple sclerosis Parkinsons disease Alzheimers disease and related dementias
Requirements
Candidates must be registered with CORU.
Hold a valid visa work permit or permission to work in Ireland.
Recognised qualification in Physiotherapy (preferred)
Carry out comprehensive assessments develop individualised treatment plans and deliver effective physiotherapy interventions to all referred residents.
Ensure residents privacy dignity and confidentiality are respected at all times.
Liaise effectively with residents families/carers and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to support a holistic approach to care.
Maintain clear and effective communication with all members of the care team.
Keep accurate up-to-date clinical records in line with legal professional and data collection requirements.
Attend team meetings and other service-related meetings as required.
In the interest of COVID-19 safety candidates must not be employed in other healthcare facilities.
