Salary Range

The expected compensation range for this position represents a good faith estimate for this position and the specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including but not limited to the candidates relevant knowledge training skills work location experience and/or FTE.

Clinical Trainee Base Salary $60004.41 - $69478.79/annually

Fully Licensed Base Salary $68755.06 - $79611.12/annually

Canvas Healths mental health and substance use disorder providers clinicians and staff bring their diverse lived experience to help inform and guide the care they provide to clients. Our integrated programs and services offer coordinated care to people of all ages in their homes the community and in our clinics. Canvas Health is a non-profit Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) specializing in serving clients who are on Medicaid.

Position Summary

This position provides clinical services to those children and families who are considered to be at risk in a school setting. This position requires services to be delivered primarily at school during the school day but at times in home or in the community. It emphasizes a high level of skill and knowledge about families individuals and family assessment family skills and education services in the school. The position provides diagnostic assessments and therapy services to eligible students and their families. It also provides consultation/teaming with school psychologists school social workers teachers and multiple mental health providers. This position provides case consultation training on mental health issues and assistance to school.

Schedule

This position can be either a .8 or 1.0 FTE. Work will primarily be daytime hours Monday - Friday at the school. Some occasional evening hours may be required.

Minimum Qualifications

Fully Licensed Therapist

• Possess a masters degree or higher in Social Work Marriage & Family Therapy Psychology or related Human Services field.
• Possess a current and valid LICSW LMFT LP or LPCC Minnesota State Licensure
• Eligibility to become a credentialed provider with insurance entities.

Clinical Trainee

• Possess a masters degree or higher in Social Work Marriage & Family Therapy Psychology or Clinical Counseling
• Possess a current and valid OR currently pursuing a Minnesota State Licensure (e.g. LICSW LMFT LP or LPCC)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with and/or delivering services to diverse populations.
• Experience with Electronic Health Record systems.
• Experience in residential and/or day treatment
