Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor production assistant to develop and complete on production jobs
• Leads the planning production and post-production of all video and photo projects ensuring alignment with brand strategy and university goals.
• Develops and executes creative concepts storyboards and shot lists for campaigns social media events and internal communications.
• Works alongside the team to also shoot and capture video and photography in the field including setup and breakdown of filming locations and equipment.
• Directs photo and video shoots ensuring visual consistency and quality across all deliverables.
• Provides training to others in editing techniques and the use of video equipment.
• Oversees editing color grading motion graphics and sound design processes.
• Ensure timely delivery of assignments while maintaining the highest production standards.
• Implements and maintain efficient media management and archiving systems.
• Collaborates with internal and external departments to create content that supports campaigns brand storytelling and audience engagement.
• Stays current with visual trends tools and techniques to continuously innovate and improve production quality.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive knowledge of video and photography production workflows.
• Understanding of storytelling principles brand identity and visual communication strategies.
• Knowledge of camera systems lenses lighting setups and audio equipment as well as current production technology and trends.
• Extensive knowledge of camera systems and related production equipment.
• Proficient in lighting design and audio recording techniques for video and photography
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to maintain professional courteous and effective working relationships with all levels of the organization and outside business contacts.
• Proven intermediate skills in Windows MS Office Programs (Word PowerPoint Excel) and experience with database systems. Ability to prepare reports correspondence charts forms and other information and instructions.
• Proficient in various NLE Video Production software such as DaVinci Resolve & Adobe Premiere Pro
• Thorough understanding of video production workflow (Pre-production production post-production sound design color grading)
• Knowledge of project color space management file optimization and organization

Certificates Licenses Regulations

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Class A/3 gaming license from the Stillaguamish Tribal Gaming Agency and Washington State
• Valid drivers license.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Constantly requires the ability to receive detailed information through oral and written communication. The position requires exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Requires repetitive movement daily with sedentary work occasional bending and crouching.This position requires being outside in different weather conditionsfor some of the events. There are no adverse conditions but employee is exposed to tobacco smoke on a regular basis. This is a 24 hour 7 days a week work operation.
