SGI Global is seeking an Affirmative Civil Enforcement (ACE) Investigator/Analyst to support the United States Attorneys Office District of Minnesota to support the Assistant United States Attorneys (AUSAs) within the Civil Division.

Job Duties
- Assisting in the investigative phases of ACE efforts including participating in witness interviews.
- Analyzing claims data using Excel and other tools to identify patterns that could reflect fraudulent conduct.
- Performing factual analysis and preparing written summaries in support of ACE work.
- Using a variety of automated research tools including public information databases and other automated resources to perform case- or program-specific research.
- Reviewing and evaluating referrals and planning an approach to obtain additional information and evidence.
- Conducting investigative work to obtain additional information and evidence.
- Organizing evidence exhibits discovery and other documents.
- Preparing summaries charts tables graphs or other visual aids.
- Range of ACE investigator/analyst tasks include but are not limited to copying mailing scanning opening and closing files maintaining pleadings and correspondence electronically and maintaining databases.
- Testify as a witness in trial related to investigative activities undertaken on ACE cases.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of the legal process and familiarity with both civil and criminal law at the federal and local level.
- Ability to talk to attorneys understand legal and factual issues and subject matter details involved in a case to determine options for managing and presenting the data.
- Knowledge of and skill in applying most of the following:
- Computer Skills: Applicant shall have the ability to use MS Word MS Excel MS Outlook MS Access and other databases as well as Adobe Acrobat Professional.
- Experience with Relativity is a plus.
- Communication skills are extremely important. Applicant shall work and interact professionally and effectively with all levels of staff.
- Ability to meet established deadlines and work as a team player in a professional office.
- Skill in meeting and dealing with people in a courteous and tactful manner.
- Ability to review a wide variety of documents both legal and non-legal including Motions and Briefs.
