Summary

Join our Automation Engineering team as a SecOps Analyst and help design build and maintain automation workflows that drive efficiency and strengthen our cybersecurity operations. Youll collaborate with experienced engineers leverage industry-standard tools and contribute to impactful improvements across our security processes.

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Develop test and maintain automation playbooks and workflows using SOAR platforms (e.g. Cortex XSOAR).
• Integrate security and non-security tools and third-party services via REST APIs and scripting (Python Bash) with SOAR.
• Participate in code reviews version control (Git) and basic testing to ensure high-quality maintainable solutions.
• Collaborate with team members to identify automation opportunities and implement best practices.
• Document workflows processes and technical decisions clearly for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Support troubleshooting and continuous improvement of automation solutions.
• Experience with cloud platforms (especially AWS: Lambda S3 IAM etc).
• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform CloudFormation).
• Experience with configuration management (Ansible).
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker).

Education and/or Experience Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
• 23 years of experience in IT cybersecurity or related roles.

Required Qualifications

• Basic understanding of SOAR platforms (e.g. Cortex XSOAR).
• Proficiency in scripting/programming (Python Bash).
• Familiarity with software development best practices (version control code reviews testing).
• Understanding of REST APIs and integration concepts.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Organized detail-oriented and comfortable working in an agile environment.
• Collaborative eager to learn and adaptable to changing priorities.

Each of our roles is assigned asalaryrange that is informed by multiple sources of market determineindividualpaywithin a given range based on a candidates prior experience knowledge skills and abilities. This approach allows us to offer competitive and equitable salaries that reflect the value and responsibilities of each role at CDW. Salaries are based on a 37.5 -hour workweek and paid on a bi-weekly payroll schedule.

Pay range: $ 33.34 - $ 46.46 hourly depending on experience and skill set
