Job Summary
Specialist Nurse
Ross Hall Hospital
36 Hours & Permanent
Salary: Up to 44791.67 FTE per year (depending on level of experience training and qualification)
We have an opportunity for a Specialist Nurse to join their team of staff.
This is a part time role for 36 hours a week. The role holder will be required tocover a flexible shift pattern.
Duties of this role include:
Deliver safe high-quality evidence-based care within your area of specialism acting as a clinical expert and role model.
Support assessment diagnosis treatment planning and ongoing management of patients with complex or long-term conditions.
Contribute to the development and implementation of care pathways and protocols based on national guidelines and best practice.
Provide education support and counselling to patients and families empowering them to understand and manage their health conditions.
Act as a key contact for patients ensuring consistent coordinated care throughout their treatment journey.
Signpost to additional services and resources to support holistic care.
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
Registered Nurse (Adult Child or Mental Health depending on specialty) with valid NMC registration.
Significant post-registration experience in the relevant specialty area.
Demonstrable specialist knowledge and advanced clinical skills within a defined field.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
