Key Responsibilities!
- We are looking for someone to actively seek and develop opportunities across all customer sectors within your assigned geographies strictly generating revenues aligned with budget targets.
- Collaborate closely with the Field Sales Team to support strategic accounts and ensure seamless customer experiences.
- Identify and close new prospect opportunities through a combination of self-generated leads and marketing-provided insights.
- Engage with customers through various channels (e.g. email phone calls online meetings) to qualify leads convert prospects and successfully implement upselling strategies.
- Apply LGCs advanced sales tools and virtual capabilities to nurture prospects close opportunities and conduct ongoing territory planning.
- Achieve revenue goals by working collaboratively with team members to deliver outstanding sales outcomes from both new and existing customers.
- Partner with the marketing team to launch new products and deploy impactful campaigns.
- Monitor and provide feedback on customer and market trends to identify competitor activities and opportunities for market growth.
- Manage daily service cloud cases to ensure timely handling and resolution of customer inquiries.
- Ensure that new customer and product-price requests are promptly followed up with formal quotations and within agreed timescales.
- Participate in field events such as conferences exhibitions and seminars to represent LGC and expand our network.
- Deliver pre-sales technical assistance to customers and support the quoting team when required.
- Provide backup assistance for the Quoting Team to uphold service standards and handle incoming caseloads.
Qualifications :
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Life Sciences/Cell Biology or a related field with a strong preference for candidates with a scientific background.
- Proven track record in sales or customer service roles within the Life Sciences industry.
- Proficient written and spoken proficiency in English is required; additional proficiency in German or other European languages is a strong advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to a positive inclusive workplace.
- Adaptable and driven person with a strong desire to succeed in a competitive commercial setting.
- Outstanding organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent telephone manner and communication skills capable of relating to all levels of the business.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated skills in uncovering customer needs persuasion negotiation and demand generation.
- In-depth product knowledge including value propositions and solution development.
- Passionate about delivering outstanding customer experiences for both internal and external clients.
- Diligent and highly organized with a deep knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP SAGE ORACLE and supply chain management processes is essential.
