Job Summary
Position Description:
We are seeking a technically skilled SAP ABAP Consultant responsible for designing developing testing and maintaining SAP ABAP solutions that support business objectives and enhance operational efficiency. This role involves close collaboration with functional analysts and stakeholders to deliver scalable high-performance software solutions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented proactive and passionate about leveraging SAP technologies to drive business value.
Responsibilities
-Develop test and maintain SAP ABAP solutions (ECC and S/4HANA)
-Define and document technical specifications aligned with functional requirements
-Collaborate in the design and development of new software programs and applications
-Translate business needs into technical solutions including database design and data flow
-Work closely with functional analysts to gather and analyze user requirements
-Perform unit testing and resolve system defects
-Implement data quality controls and performance tuning
-Create and maintain technical documentation for long-term maintainability
-Participate in team discussions and contribute to continuous improvement
-Support integration between ECC and S/4HANA using middleware systems
Qualifications
-Advanced experience in ABAP programming (ECC and S/4HANA)
-Proficiency in ABAP Objects (OOP) ALV Reports SmartForms IDocs BAPIs BADIs
-Strong debugging and performance optimization skills
-Experience with S/4HANA-specific ABAP: CDS Views AMDP ATC Simplification Item List
-Integration expertise with SAP PI/PO or SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration)
-Familiarity with REST/SOAP Web Services and middleware communication
-Ability to write execute and optimize complex SQL queries
-Experience with DevOps practices and agile development environments
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English and French
-Ability to understand business processes and translate them into technical solutions
