What Youll Do

• Complete SUD assessments ASAM level of care DSM diagnosis and clinical formulations
• Build strengths-based treatment plans and keep them active and collaborative
• Provide daily groups individual counseling and trauma-informed interventions
• Use MI CBT and stage-wise strategies to support change
• Respond to crises and complete risk assessments
• Partner closely with DHS courts and community supports
• Coordinate care across a diverse team of clinical and para-professional staff

Schedule: Sunday - Thursday (8:00am -4:30pm)Fridays & Saturdays OFF!!!

Compensation:

• CADC-R: $23.36 - $30.37
• CADC-1: $25.76 - $33.49
• CADC-2 or 3: $28.40 - $36.92

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must have one of the following :
• CADC-R
• CADC-1
• CADC-2
• CADC-3

• CADC 1 or 2 with TWO years of delivery SUDs Services HIGHLY preferred
• Residential treatment experience with similar populations preferred.
• QMHA-R preferred. To meet the credential requirements of QMHA-R must be registered with MHACBO to meet at minimum QMHA-R requirements.
• Must have High School Diploma or GED advanced degree preferred.
• Must meet CCC privileging requirements as required by FTCA.
• Have or able to obtain Adult and Child/Infant CPR Certification AND Adult and Pediatric First Aid Certification prior to start date.
• Ability to adhere to Central City Concerns drug-free workplace which encourages a safe healthy and productive work environment and strictly complies with the Drug-Free Work Place Ace of employee shall not in the workplace unlawfully manufacture distribute dispense possess or use a controlled substance or alcohol.
• Must have professional-level knowledge and skills in counseling techniques with individuals and groups.
• Must be able to work with pregnant parenting or nursing women.
• Demonstrated knowledge of resources to enhance client treatment.
• Must have knowledge of de-escalation Motivational Interviewing DBT and other best practices in residential treatment and a demonstrated ability to put these principles into practice.
• If using a vehicle for agency use must possess a current drivers license access to a vehicle qualify as an Acceptable Driver as designated in Central City Concerns Fleet Safety policy. Must pass an initial drivers training within 60 days of being an approved driver and continued recertification training.
• Must be able to work as on-call counselor by cell phone one week on rotation basis with other counselors.
• Will be required to carry an agency cell phone for work use. Cell phone to be provided by Central City Concern.
• Physical ability to bend stoop kneel squat twist reach pull and lift heavy objects.
• Must be able to climb stairs several times a day.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen TB test and background check. This includes clearance by the DHS Background Check Unit. Must be approved by the Childcare Background Check Unit.
• Prior to employment must be approved by the State of Oregon Employment Department Child Care Division. Must complete consent for criminal records identification check pursuant to ORS 181.537. This program receives funds from the Federal Child Care Development Fund block grant via a contract with the Child Care Division for Alcohol & Drug Abuse Programs.
• The OAR prohibits A&D program staff from having within the previous 3 years a DUI conviction or diversion a felony conviction or a conviction under the Uniform Controlled Substances Act.
• Must adhere to agencys non-discrimination policies.
• Ability to effectively interact with co-workers and clients with diverse ethnic backgrounds religious views cultural backgrounds life-styles and sexual orientations and treat each individual with respect and dignity.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct and document substance use disorder assessments ASAM level of care substance use disorder DSM diagnosis and clinical formulation.
• Develop strengths-based treatment plan and maintain treatment plan updates with client.
• Work with a diverse team including professional and para-professional staff to develop and implement client-centered care.
• Participate in clinical staff meetings and case conferences with team members in order to utilize interdisciplinary expertise and facilitate individual service plans for clients.
• Share recovery expertise by working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary treatment team modeling integrated treatment skills and evidence based principles and practice.
• Support clients in accessing off-site appointments and collaboration meetings as necessary to include court appearances and DHS family decision meetings.
• Participate in direct treatment of clients by:
• Attending clinical staff meetings and case conferences;
• Providing group counseling to clients on a daily basis;
• Providing one-on-one counseling sessions.
• Facilitate substance use treatment groups for female clients including addiction as a disease process recovery skills Trauma Informed Care components healthy parenting and life skills.
• Assess triage and respond to client crisis in the most effective efficient and safe manner possible.
• Participate in evaluating clients for risk of harm.
• Monitor and assure the health and safety needs of clients are met.
• Quickly and accurately assess the needs of individual clients and potential barriers to service.
• Utilize Motivational Interviewing and trauma-informed treatment modalities to identify stages of change and develop corresponding stage wise treatment strategies.
• Maintain client records as required by State Federal local and program standards and funding requirements.
• Works within scope of training and experience and seeks consultation when appropriate.
• Participate in regular supervision from the Clinical Supervisor seeking additional supervision whenever necessary. Minimum requirement two hours of documented supervision per month.
• Collaborate with partnering agencies to include DHS Child Welfare and the Department of Justice.
• Provide testimony and advocacy with courts and other agencies.
• Coordinate services with all members of clients support network.
• Participate in training opportunities to advance skills and knowledge in substance use disorders.
• Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement activities as directed.
• Assist with the development of an integrated treatment program.
• Attend all mandatory CCC trainings in a timely manner.
• Adhere to all state and federal privacy regulations including HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 and to CCC policies and agreements regarding confidentiality privacy and security. Support compliance with all privacy and security requirements pursuant to community partners and outside providers patient confidentiality agreements including privacy and security requirements for EMR access. This includes immediately reporting any breach of protected health information or personal identification information of any person receiving CCC services by CCC or an outside provider to the CCC Compliance Department as well as to your supervisor or their designee.
