Why this role matters
As a Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Officer based in the Education and Student Experience Faculty team you will play a key role in coordinating placements and ensuring student compliance for UNSW Medicine & Health programs.
In this role you will be instrumental in driving successful student placements by collaborating with academic teams and using your strong stakeholder management skills to secure quality opportunities. You will plan schedule and coordinate placements in line with program requirements and the UNSW WIL Procedure maintain accurate student records and manage allocations using systems such as ClinConnect and InPlace. This position is well suited to someone with extensive experience in health-sector placements compliance and placement systems and process improvement to ensure the faculty can meet growing placement demand.
Working closely with the WIL Compliance Officer and placement partners you will ensure students understand and meet compliance requirements by organising compliance information sessions and communications and verifying compliance documentation. You will engage positively with students providing clear timely and supportive communication on placement matters.
This role also involves collaborating with other WIL Officers and Administrators to deliver a seamless placement experience.
The role reports to the Academic Programs & WIL Team Leader and has no direct reports.
