POSITION OVERVIEW
The Executive Coordinator provides high-level administrative and operational support to the SVP of Growth and Transition Capital. This role requires strong organizational skills a high degree of discretion and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You will serve as a key point of contact between the SVP and internal and external stakeholders ensuring smooth communication and effective coordination.
While this position is titled Executive Coordinator you will also contribute to Analyst-level responsibilities within the GTC group at BDC. This role offers strong potential to evolve into a full Analyst position in the future.
CHALLENGES TO BE MET
Manage complex calendars efficiently including scheduling meetings and coordinating travel arrangements
Prepare briefing materials reports and presentations for internal and external meetings
Handle confidential correspondence and maintain effective organizational systems
Contribute to the planning and execution of meetings departmental initiatives and special events
Act as a liaison between the Senior Vice President and internal and external partners facilitating communication
Follow up on action items and ensure deadlines are met
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
Prepare various service requests and/or provide support related to daily and periodic loan administration
Draft different types of client letters (e.g. amendment letter welcome letter congratulatory letter balance confirmation letter for the accountant)
Calculate prepayments and prepare related client correspondence
Participate actively in legal processes throughout the life of a loan (including postponements releases discharges additional security taking and legal binders)
Update files and client information in CLICS and other systems ensure follow-up on required documents (acceptances financial data etc.) and produce reports as needed
Make and reconcile various deposits
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Bachelors or college degree in Business Administration or a related discipline
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and virtual collaboration tools
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English
Proven ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
Strong attention to detail and ability to proactively anticipate needs
