We invite applications for a faculty position (clinician scientist or clinical track) at the instructor level from candidates with training in radiation oncology who demonstrate academic excellence and a strong commitment to clinical and translational research and patient care. The ideal applicant will also possess experience in leadership mentorship and education within an academic environment.
The Department of Radiation Oncology fosters a collaborative and interactive environment offering faculty substantial opportunities to engage in clinical educational and translational research initiatives. Each team member plays a crucial role by aligning with both departmental and institutional strategic objectives actively pursuing faculty development and advancing high-quality multidisciplinary care and research endeavors. Additionally this position integrates clinical education into routine practice to provide a comprehensive learning experience for rotating medical students radiation oncology residents clinical fellows and visiting participants from the St. Jude Global program.
Candidates must hold an MD MD/PhD DO or UK/European equivalent have training in radiation oncology and qualify for Tennessee medical licensure as clinical duties are required.
