DescriptionAs a Technical Program Manager focused on executing physical hardware security programs you will drive end-to-end project delivery for the design deployment and lifecycle management of secure hardware infrastructure. This role acts as the intersection between hardware engineering security operations compliance and supply chain ensuring that physical hardware assets meet or exceed corporate and industry security standards throughout their lifecycle.
Expected Travel - up to 30%
Responsibilities- Oversee planning and execution of physical hardware security projects including new hyperscale data deployments upgrades commissioning and occasional incident responses.
- Define and drive milestones across cross- functional teams (OCI GCs Trades Vendors IT) for secure hardware delivery.
- Implement and enforce compliance with security policies and best practices for physical access.
- Track Schedules and deliverables escalate issues and risks as appropriate.
- Provide clear and timely communication to stakeholders and senior management on project progress risks and mitigation plan.
- Stay updated on evolving technologies.
- Build and maintain comprehensive readiness and project plans that outline timelines dependencies risks deliverables and cross-functional responsibilities.
- Lead the development coordination and execution of operational readiness standards to ensure teams are fully prepared for new features environment changes releases and customer onboarding activities.
- Partner with engineering product operations and customer-facing teams to drive alignment clarify readiness requirements and ensure smooth execution across all phases of delivery.
- Apply technical program management best practices to streamline workflows standardize readiness processes and enhance operational consistency across teams.
- Monitor readiness scope schedules and progress proactively identifying blockers gaps or risks and driving resolution through cross-functional collaboration.
- Coordinate with third-party internal partners to ensure readiness-related commitments deliverables and integrations meet expectations.
- Deliver clear and timely status updates to leadership and stakeholders highlighting achievements risks mitigation plans and impacts to operational timelines.
- Champion continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned driving post-readiness retrospectives and incorporating industry best practices into updated standards.
- Ensure all operational readiness documentation is accurate accessible and maintained in alignment with governance audit and compliance standards.
- Foster a collaborative execution-focused environment by guiding teams supporting readiness preparation efforts and reinforcing a culture of operational excellence and maturity.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in engineering Computer Science Information Security or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 7 years experience managing cross-functional technical projects/programs with at least 2 years in a hardware or physical security context.
- Demonstrated understanding of hardware development lifecycles supply chain risks and data center environments.
- Experience implementing security best practices for physical infrastructure including access controls hardware tamper detection video and other technologies.
- Strong Stakeholder management influencing and executive communication skills.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
- Industry certifications (PMP CSMP CISSP)
- Experience in implementing and executing security in large hyperscale environments.
