Responsibilities:
We are seeking a highly motivated Network Engineer to support maintain and improve our enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in networking fundamentals excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teams. This role requires someone who can operate both independently and collaboratively and who has hands-on experience with Zero Trust technologies such as Zscaler.
Key responsibilities include:
- Support configure and maintain enterprise network systems including routers switches firewalls VPNs and cloud-based network services.
- Perform network monitoring diagnostics and troubleshooting to ensure high availability and optimal performance.
- Assist in designing and implementing secure scalable network solutions aligned with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve network issues and support business initiatives.
- Document network processes configurations and incident resolutions clearly and accurately.
- Participate in on-call rotations and respond to network incidents as needed.
Qualifications:
PJT Partners seeks to hire individuals who are highly motivated intelligent and have demonstrated excellence in prior addition qualified candidates will possess the following:
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP subnets routing switching DNS DHCP VLANs and network security principles.
- Experience with both Cisco Switching and Meraki Wireless.
- Experience with SASE security platforms with a strong preference for Zscaler. Experience with similar technologies such as Cloudflare Zero Trust Palo Alto Prisma Access or Netskope is also valuable.
- Demonstrated troubleshooting skills with the ability to quickly identify isolate and resolve network issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Firewall technology.
- Familiarity with network monitoring tools and ticketing systems.
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or related fieldor equivalent experience.
