Job Summary
Otter Valley is seeking an enthusiastic innovative and collaborative L/T HS Math Teacher teacher to fill a vacancy beginning January through June 2026. The candidate should possess the ability to deliver differentiated instruction using varied and experiential methods to engage ResponsibilitiesAll Otter Valley teachers are expected to:implement standards-aligned units of study and engaging lessonsuse content-specific pedagogical techniques to engage learnersuse assessment to inform instruction throughout the learning processcreate positive classroom cultures focused on relationships inclusive practices and reciprocal trustcollaborate effectively with colleagues to improve teaching methods and ensure support is in place for all responsibilities for this position include:Strong pedagogical content knowledge and awareness of Common Core Math StandardsAn awareness and keen interest in student centered educationValues the importance of the student-teacher relationship as both the educator and the interactive classroom through creativity and the importance of working with students and fellow educators in a community of civility and strong communication skills. (Teacher to student parent administrator and other professionals involved in a students educational goals.) Working knowledge or a willingness to learn and apply the Danielson model for professional practice in is desirable that the successful candidate will be able to teach a variety of math courses from Algebra I to CalculusRequired Qualifications:Must be eligible or possess Vermont State Professional License with appropriate endorsement to teach Grades 7-12 Math Background in MathematicsPlease apply through to.
