Join a flagship Defence programme contributing to the development and deployment of data management applications within a secure and complex environment. This role offers the opportunity to gain security clearance work with cutting-edge technologies like Palantir Foundry and build strategic capabilities in data modelling and application development.
Key responsibilities
Collaborate with client stakeholders to identify and prioritise Key User Requirements (KURs)
Design and develop data-driven applications and features aligned to user needs
Build and manage data pipelines for ingestion and live data integration
Lead application/feature deployment through the Go Live process
Conduct user trials and demonstrations to refine product functionality
Ensure architectural coherence across a portfolio of applications
Scope and define requirements for new applications or enhancements
Operate or learn to operate Palantir Foundry as part of the delivery stack.
Must be able to work on site in Derby 2/3 days per week with potential to travel to other sites when required.
A current UK Security Clearance
Qualifications :
Bachelors or Masters degree in one of the following:
Artificial Intelligence Data Science Computer Science
Strong understanding of data modelling (conceptual logical physical)
Experience in building scalable efficient data systems and architectures
Ability to perform data profiling and resolve data quality issues
Experience in application design and development
General SQEP (Suitably Qualified and Experienced Person) in data modelling and engineering.
Desirable skills
Experience with Palantir Foundry
Prior experience in Defence environments or Healthcare environments also advantageous
Familiarity with secure data handling and Defence digital standards.
