As an Implementation Consultant Associate youll be one of those people.

This is an entry-level hands-on role where youll learn how customers use software how data moves between systems and how to support people through important transitions. You dont need previous experience in implementation or accountancy -well teach you everything step by step.

If it doesnt everything becomes harder.

Your role exists to make sure it goes well.

You wont be selling software or fixing technical faults. Instead youll be helping customers understand whats happening guiding them through each step and making sure nothing important gets missed.

About the Team Youll Join

Youll be part of a close-knit Professional Services team of around 10 people including:

  • Implementation Consultants
  • Technical Consultants
  • Training Consultants

The team works collaboratively -no one succeeds alone. Youll be encouraged to ask questions learn from others and build your confidence over time.

Mistakes are treated as learning opportunities not failures.

What Youll Be Doing

Day to day youll:

  • Help customers move from desktop accountancy software to cloud-based systems
  • Prepare and check customer data so its ready to move safely
  • Support migration and implementation projects alongside experienced consultants
  • Show customers how to use their new software in a clear supportive way
  • Answer questions and explain next steps so customers feel reassured
  • Work closely with colleagues across Implementation Technical Consulting Training and Support
  • Learn how accountancy practices work and how IRIS software supports them

Youll always be supported. At first youll observe assist and learn -then gradually take on more responsibility as your confidence grows.

What Were Looking For

This role is about potential attitude and building a career in accountancy software-but an accountancy background is essential.

Were looking for someone who has studied Accountancy and wants to apply that knowledge in a practical customer-facing role within a software business.

Youll be a great fit if you:

  • Have a degree or qualification in Accountancy (essential)
  • Are interested in how accountancy practices operate and how software supports their day-to-day work
  • Enjoy learning new systems processes and tools
  • Like helping people understand information clearly and step by step
  • Are organised methodical and pay close attention to detail
  • Communicate clearly and professionally both in writing and conversation
  • Are comfortable taking responsibility and learning on the job
  • Stay calm and positive when working through change
  • Want to build a long-term career in accountancy software implementation or professional services

You do not need previous implementation experience and you do not need a technical or software development background.

Experience using accountancy software or working in an accountancy practice is helpful but not required. Full training and ongoing support will be provided.
