Service Center Mechanic
Join Xylem a global water technology leader and be part of a team solving the worlds most critical water challenges. As a Service Center Mechanic youll work hands-on with industry-leading equipment while building valuable technical skills in a supportive safety-focused environment.
What Your Day Will Look Like as a Service Center Mechanic:
Diagnose repair and test Flygt submersible wastewater pumps
Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
Use hand and power tools in a professional shop environment
Operate shop equipment such as forklifts and overhead cranes
Document work accurately in our work-order system
Maintain a clean safe and organized workspace
Collaborate with teammates and occasionally support customers
Training is provided and youll have opportunities to grow your skills over time.

Position Requirements for Service Center Mechanics:
High school diploma or equivalent
02 years of technical or mechanical experience (1 year preferred)
Mechanical and electrical aptitude
Strong troubleshooting and critical-thinking skills
Ability to understand and communicate technical information
Comfortable using Microsoft Office and smart devices
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in an industrial shop setting
Willingness to travel occasionally including overnight stays
