Service Center Mechanic

Join Xylem a global water technology leader and be part of a team solving the worlds most critical water challenges. As a Service Center Mechanic youll work hands-on with industry-leading equipment while building valuable technical skills in a supportive safety-focused environment.

What Your Day Will Look Like as a Service Center Mechanic:

  • Diagnose repair and test Flygt submersible wastewater pumps

  • Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting

  • Use hand and power tools in a professional shop environment

  • Operate shop equipment such as forklifts and overhead cranes

  • Document work accurately in our work-order system

  • Maintain a clean safe and organized workspace

  • Collaborate with teammates and occasionally support customers

Training is provided and youll have opportunities to grow your skills over time.

Position Requirements for Service Center Mechanics:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 02 years of technical or mechanical experience (1 year preferred)

  • Mechanical and electrical aptitude

  • Strong troubleshooting and critical-thinking skills

  • Ability to understand and communicate technical information

  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and smart devices

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in an industrial shop setting

  • Willingness to travel occasionally including overnight stays
