Bachelors Degree Pharmacy Required
Other Pharm D. Degree from U.S accredited College of Pharmacy required
1 Year of residence experience (PGY1) upon hire required
3 years focused hospital pharmacist experience required
2 years residency experience in Renal Transplant (PGY2) required upon hire
5 years of hospital pharmacist experience required
Highly preferred PGY1 residency completion (or equivalence)
Demonstrate leadership experience training and development and contributions to the profession required.
Team Leadership
Guide the collective effort towards constant improvement and goal achievement.
Clinical Leadership
Work independently as well as participate and lead group efforts to improve pharmaceutical care.
Professional Activities:
Publishing (posters at regional professional meetings to publishing in national peer-reviewed journals)
Participation (minimum) / leadership (at least periodically) in relevant professional organizations.
Active leadership in preceptorship for resident and student programs
Maintaining relevant board certification in applicable specialty area
Other duties as assigned.

Department highlights:
This is a very collaborative practice that includes a mixof inpatient management (perioperative post-transplant rejection management and re-admissions) as well as the outpatient clinic with both pre-transplant (patient education) and post-transplant (medication /disease state management) all in collaboration witha hands-on multidisciplinary team.
