Job Description
The PT Staff Researcher will conduct research in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) related to neutron-based projects. This role includes documenting research processes collaborating with peers and support ongoing research initiatives. The position requires strong organizational skills attention to detail and the ability to work independently while maintaining effective communication with the research team. .
Responsibilities
Conduct research in AI and ML for neutron-related projects
Track and document research processes to maintain organized and up-to-date records
Collaborate with peers to support research activities and exchange ideas
Communicate research progress and findings effectively with the research team
Perform additional research-related tasks as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent relevant experience
Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning concepts
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative research team
Strong written and verbal communication skills

In compliance with the New Jersey Wage Transparency Act the hourly base range for this position is $48.00-$51.00. This range represents the Universitys good faith estimate of possible compensation at the time of posting. Stevens Institute of Technology determines compensation based on factors including the positions scope and responsibilities the candidates experience education skills internal equity market data and organizational considerations. The final salary will be set considering departmental budget qualifications and relevant credentials. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes additional forms of compensation such as incentives stipends or other applicable pay components.
