We are looking for a Clinical Leader for our Hospital to help us build a healthier nation. youre registered with the appropriate governing body and you have the relevant qualifications and post registration in surgery/anaesthetics experience including as a Registered Nurse or HCPC Registered Operating Department Practitioner. With strong clinical leadership you will guide your team a shared vision promoting innovation and sustainability. As a clinical leader you will have good communication and organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a team knowledge and understanding of running a smooth & effective department equipment is also essential.
As our Clinical Leader you will:
Conduct and organize the Clinical/ Surgical and Endoscopy team within theatre which include the smooth running of the theatre lists and organizing booking forms and assisting sessions in theatres
Work collaboratively and flexibly across the theatre suites to accommodate the service demands of each department which include Endoscopy General Orthopedics Gynae
Promote effective clinical risk management and governance within the department including safety and risk management quality improvement and ensure policies and procedure to enhance patient care and service delivery.
Have extensive knowledge required for dealing with audits and equipment.
Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of surgical techniques and associated equipment
Have ample opportunities for continuous growth and personal development which can include Surgical First Assist training.

The Hospital has 28 ensuite inpatient beds 2 Laminar flow theatres Endoscopy Suite minor treatment room and 14 consulting rooms. The hospital delivers a wide variety of inpatient and outpatient treatments and services using the best possible technologies. Since 2015 we have invested in a static MRI unit a new digital X ray room & digital mammography. We are a local centre of excellence for Children and Young People Services. Having a Fitness & Wellbeing Gym in Leicester has led to a close working relationship and the Hospital was a forerunner for the Nuffield recovery plus programme.
The Hospital has been rated as a Good hospital by the CQC and achieved this rating across the 5 key lines of enquiry across all departments inspected
