Job Summary

Locum - Physician - Neonatology Opportunity in Wichita Falls TX!

Join a premier healthcare institution in Wichita Falls Texas known for its dedication to healthcare excellence. This prominent hospital offers a wide array of medical services including emergency care surgical procedures and specialized maternity and pediatric care. As a Level II Special Care Nursery designated facility the hospital is equipped to provide critical support for premature and seriously ill newborns in a collaborative family-centered environment.

Job Responsibilities:

Cover the Level II NICU and newborn nursery.
Work towards the Level III NICU designation in partnership with the hospital.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care to premature and critically ill newborns.
Utilize advanced technology in a state-of-the-art NICU facility.
Provide family-centered care offering support to parents during their newborns NICU stay.
Participate in 24-hour shifts including call from home/hotel.
Immediate coverage available.

Qualifications:

Board Certified in Neonatology (not accepting Board Eligible candidates).
Active Texas license (required for quick credentialing).
At least 1 year of clinical activity (not accepting those without recent clinical experience).
A minimum of 6 months of clinical experience in the specialty.
Submission of a completed Prescreen Questionnaire.
Current CV in MM/YYYY format with all gaps explained.
Cleans background and no malpractice history for fast credentialing.
Self-query NPDB (to be done within the month).

License and Certification Requirements:

Board Certified in Neonatology (required).
Current Texas Medical License (required; no exceptions).
