Job Summary

Exciting Opportunity for a Neonatologist in Wichita Falls TX!

Join a dedicated team of healthcare professionals at a prominent healthcare institution serving the Wichita Falls community and beyond. Our facility is recognized for its commitment to healthcare excellence offering a comprehensive range of medical services including maternity and pediatric care among others. As a Level II Special Care Nursery we are equipped to provide specialized care for infants with physiological immaturity and other issues requiring rapid resolution ensuring families can stay close during critical times.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide coverage in a Level II NICU and newborn nursery.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to care for premature and critically ill newborns.
Support parents during their newborns NICU stay through family-centered care.
Rounding for 24-hour shifts with on-call responsibilities from home or hotel.
Utilize advanced technology in a state-of-the-art NICU facility.
Participate in efforts towards achieving Level III NICU designation.

Qualifications:

Board Certified in Neonatology (not accepting BE).
At least 6 months of clinical experience in neonatology.
Must be clinically active for at least the past year.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

License and Certification Requirements:

Active Texas State Medical License (no exceptions for quick credentialing).
Must provide a clean background free of malpractice issues.
Completed Prescreen Questionnaire required.
CV in MM/YYYY format with all gaps explained.
