The Senior Lean Leader will provide both strategic & tactical support within the Greenville Manufacturing facility in the development execution and sustainment of a Lean/Inventory Strategy aligned with the business imperatives. Responsible for working with the Plant Leadership team to further their customer based process improvement strategy which drives safety quality customer responsiveness and lead time reduction in line with business/functional objectives.

Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all actions focused on strategic lean transformation projects & initiatives.
- Drive execution of lean initiatives & continuous improvement through leadership of kaizen events.
- Lead and influence production areas through significant cultural and physical lean transformation by coaching lean methodology and principles.
- Provide leadership for continuous improvement being an innovator of positive change that impacts safety quality lead time inventory turns and on-time delivery.
- Holds self and team accountable to a strict set of high level lean standards with a continuous focus on being better than today.
- Ability to breakdown and analyze complex problems drive for root cause and implement countermeasures to eliminate root cause failure modes.
- Well versed in scientific method and importance of 7-3-1 method when solving a problem.
- Implement tools and metrics to improve visibility to operational health and lean performance.
- Positive can-do attitude
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma /GED with at least 4 years of experience in Manufacturing).
- Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in cultural and physical lean transformation and driving changes on the production shop floor through strategic projects.
Desired Characteristics:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university.
- Formal Lean Training /certification.
- Change agent with strong credibility and influence in the organization and ability to develop and motivate a high-involvement team through commitment to meeting customer and organization demands.
- Willing to challenge status quo but keep things simple at the same time.
- Must be able to multi-task manage projects and work independently in fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of manufacturing management such as production and inventory control quality management systems and standard cost systems.
- Demonstrated commitment for process improvement.
- Knowledge of products processes customer requirements and budgeting / financial processes.
- Strong interpersonal leadership skills and communication both written and oral.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position the pay range for this position is between $103100.00 and $171800.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110% 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidates experience education and skill set.
