At Midas we develop leaders. Were looking for a results-oriented Assistant Store Manager who brings energy to the counter thrives in a fast-paced sales environment and wants to grow into a Store Manager role.
This position is ideal for someone who loves sales leads by example and is ready to be held accountable for results.
The Role
As an Assistant Store Manager you will work directly alongside the Store Manager to drive sales improve performance and lead the team on the floor. You will be hands-on with customers actively closing work coaching teammates and ensuring the shop runs efficiently and profitably.
This is not a back-office role its a front-line leadership position.
What Youll Do
- Lead at the counter. Sell maintenance and repair services with confidence transparency and urgency.
- Drive daily results. Help execute strategies that improve ARO car count and service conversion.
- Support and coach the team. Assist in training service advisors and technicians on communication process and performance.
- Deliver great customer experiences. Listen consult follow up and close.
- Execute inspections and recommendations. Ensure vehicle inspections are thorough and accurately presented to customers.
- Maintain standards. Support safety cleanliness organization and compliance throughout the shop.
- Step up when needed. Run the store in the Store Managers absence.
- Track performance. Assist with daily reports scheduling payroll support and KPI tracking.

Qualifications
- 12 years of Service Advisor Assistant Manager or supervisory experience (automotive preferred)
- Strong customer-facing sales experience
- General automotive knowledge (training provided)
- Strong communication and closing skills
- Comfortable with POS systems and basic reporting
- Leadership potential and team-building mindset
- Valid drivers license
- Ability to work a flexible retail schedule (including weekends)
